The Greek presence at the upcoming ‘Fruit Attraction’ Fruit and Vegetable International Fair, to be held in Madrid from 8 to 10 October 2024, will be impressive, with 45 enterprises, cooperatives, and bodies.
The Greek participation at Fruit Attraction is being organised by the ‘Freskon Greece’ project and TIF-HELEXPO.
This year’s national ‘Freskon Greece’ participation includes Greece’s most important Greek fruit and vegetable enterprises, it is the largest ever organised, and it has “levelled-up” quantitatively and qualitatively in comparison to the previous event.
It consists of 40 enterprises and the Regions of Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Macedonia, and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
‘Fruit Attraction’ is one of the top international fairs of the global fruit and vegetable sector. It utilises eight pavilions and covers 58,000 square meters, with the participation of fruit and vegetable suppliers, packaging and label materials companies, and transport, logistics, fertiliser, and service provision enterprises. Visitors include importers, exporters, and marketing professionals, as well as wholesalers and producers.
The ‘Freskon Greece’ project is an initiative of the ‘Frekson’ International Fruit and Vegetable Trade Show, which is organised by TIF-Helexpo every April in Thessaloniki and is one of the largest events in the fruit and vegetable market of Southeastern Europe.
Its aim is to organise and present Greek companies at major fairs and markets in Europe and the Middle East through a unique concept.
